Amanda Renshaw receives Lifetime Achievement Award at the Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence

Amanda Renshaw, Chair of the Local Land Charges Institute has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2014 Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence.

Amanda who has been involved in Local Land Charges for over 35 years is chair of the Local Land Charges Institute (LLCI), a nationally recognised representative body for Local Land Charges.  Amanda represents the body in discussions with central and local government covering a wide range of issues impacting the profession.

The Award was presented by Land Data’s Chief Executive Jan Boothroyd at a ceremony in Bristol which was hosted by actor and presenter Shaun Williamson. Over 135 representatives from local land charges teams from around the country attended the awards dinner.

The national awards, now in their 7th year, celebrate the work and achievements of local authority local land charges departments which carry out the land and property searches required for conveyancing transactions in England and Wales.

Jan Boothroyd, Land Data’s Chief Executive commented: "Amanda has been involved in virtually every Association of Local Land Charge Officers and LLCI initiative over the past 30 years and that level and length of involvement takes a deeply personal, as well as professional sense of duty and dedication to achieve.”
