Southern Executive Branch Members

Chair - Amanda Renshaw (Vice Chair and Director of LLCI)

Amanda started in Local Land Charges in October 1978 and is now the Practice Manager for RB Kingston Upon Thames Legal Services with responsibility for the Local Land Charges Service.

Amanda has previously served as both the Chair and Vice Chair of LLCI.  As a LLCI Board Member she represents LLCI at national level in discussions with Central  and Local Government, the private sector (inc. COPSO and IPSA) and Local Government partner organisations, covering a wide range of issues affecting the profession including, outcomes of the OFT Report, introduction of HIPS, fees guidance and de-regulation of the LLC1 Fee.   Amanda is also a qualified NVQ assessor.

Amanda is very lucky in that her local authority fully supports the work she does for LLCI; it is however only possible for her to undertake much of this work without compromising her paid employment by ensuring LLCI time is made up.

 

Treasurer - Diane Verona

 

Secretary - Membership Secretary - David Wastall (Director of LLCI)

David is LLCO at Surrey Heath BC and has been in LLC for 20 yrs at several LA's.  Dave is responsible for arranging meetings, is a Qualified NVQ Assessor and is a qualified Internal Verifier.  Being Membership Secretary of Southern region LLCI Dave is also responsible for arranging regional meetings & providing a 'link' to Members in the south.  Dave has been involved in the Working Groups on NVQ's & Standards.

 

Minute's Secretary - Garry O'Brien

Garry is responsible for preparing Agendas and taking Minutes for Southern Branch meetings. Local Land Charges Supervisor at West Oxfordshire District Council with 14 years Local Government experience, connected with property searches, the last five in current post.

 

Honorary President - Peter Moore

The role of President is Honorary and changes every three years.  The Board of LLCI will nominate a person who in their opinion has made and will continue to make a valuable contribution to furthering the aims and objectives of LLCI, in particular in promoting the importance of the Institute within the wider community in which it operates.
